We all have done it wither it was for work, school, a date, or etc.

Post the reasons why you have called in sick. Most recent ones too.

I have called in sick for school to avoid an exam once. I just didn't feel like taking it. Then I had to come in to take it. I never did that again.

My recent ones are that I have called in sick to watch an anime, and a tv show. I almost called in to watch Blue Seed. Hehe. I think I called in to watch Inuyasha way back when and One Piece recently. I couldn't wait.

My current work gave me 40 hours of sick time morons. Hehe. I have been sick maybe once. My sick time is all gone. My bad. Aye it don't matter. In a few months I will have more. Hehe.

Quite simply, couple of times, I just didn't feel like working. I'm part time, so I don't get sick hours, and I don't get in trouble for calling sick since i'm a minor. Yay for laws!

I've called in sick because I was sick. That is all.

Oh and once I got my mom to let me stay home from school because I was tired. :p

You're all lucky you CAN call in sick. In order for me to get time off for being sick I have to go to work that day, visit the Naval doctors, perform an exam and get thier "expert" medical opinion. I cracked a bone on my shin, just a little tiny hairline fracture that made walking impossible, and they refused to place me in an SIQ status (sick in Quarters: too sick to work). Said it wasn't major enough to warrant me getting time off. They wrapped my leg up, gave me crutches and sent me on my way. Chalk up another reason to hate the Nav.

oO; oh wait. I got distracted. I would call in sick for high school all the time. All it ever took was a phone call, and as long as I refrained from using the words "dude" and "aiite" they would almost always think I was my dad. Sometimes you just need the time off, especially in the April Stint between what ever happens in feb to just before Easter.

I've been sick from school. That's it. I fall short of everyone else here. *Bows to Almighty Overlord's of Laziness*

It is only dishonest if you get caught. I am not dishonest or a liar. See I just willingly participate in the campaign of misinformation.

You will learn to take a break when you want it. Working for almost 8 years will do that for you.

Oh no, don't get me wrong. I ask for time off. I've got the week after next booked off, for example. Just I don't call in and say I'm not coming to work that day unless I absolutely have to. That way my manager can plan around it and not have to dash around at the last minute to find someone to replace me.
