Ok, first off, I never thought that I'd start a thread here in the InuYasha forums...hmmm...Anyway, just wanna know what you guys think of Sesshoumaru. Me? I kinda like him (then again, I always like bad guys...). I don't really think he's all that bad...

    ****SPOILER****

Remember that episode where he brought back to life that little girl (I think her name is Rin)??? And he did save her when Naruku kidnapped her...He says he doesn't care about humans and he despises them...I think he's just bluffing...I think he does care about humans...especially Rin...awww ....

in the beginning of the eps he is bad but later they show us a good side in his persona ...
i think he is good but his hunger for the power of his father's sord made him do what ever it takes to get it & become one of the bad guys...

This is only for those who have seen IY far enough to answer: Does Sessoumaru eventually turns to Inuyasha's side or remain a mysterious loner?

I like him since you can't tell what he is thinking. I expecailly like how he's not really either (from my point of veiw) good, or bad. Sachiko from what I've read he hasn't I probably would know more about him if i read the monthly issues of Shonen Sunday, but all I've read is 1-27.

Well, all bad guys have another side, you know what I mean? Like, maybe this person may do evil things, but for a purpose, or maybe they are willing to change their ways later. That always happens.

    I voted "Seems okay..."
Why? Because he becomes too kind but he is just bad enough to not be a goodie-goodie!

    ???????

I do think he's bad as hell but if you've seen him on the series, you can kinda tell tht he's like that because he wants to be. But if you get on his good side he's really cool. Like that kid whos always hanging around him. So it probably depends on if you'reon his good side or his bad side.

I believethat Inu Yasha is playing around. everyone knows he likes Kagome and if he didn't like humans why did he try to get to being a human at one point? Inu Yasha is hiding his feelings.

Are we talking about Inuyasha or Sesshomaru? I guess Seshomaru is okay. I really don't know what to think of him. The only thing I like is that he keeps Rin around. :D Of course Inuyasha's hiding his feelings. I like his attitude. Sesshomaru is kind of too rough, but I guess that's what makes him cool.

    Seems Ok

Definately seems OK. I mean he is just misunderstood. Besides, all he wants is the Tetsusiga not like hes after the shards.

Besides he puts up with annoying Jaken and Rin, He hasn't aimed directly for Kagome in a fight against Inu-Yash, and when Sango tried to help Inu-Yasha when Sess was attacking the sword, he didn't kill her.

If he did try to attack Kagome, did I miss an episode? Well he didn't attack her or try to kill her in any episode I saw. Well maybe one.

I agree with Sailorvenus. I think deep inside, he cares about people...how sweet...I saw that episode, when he saves that lil girls life! That was so cute! I didn't know she tagged along since Cartoon Network stopped showing the episodes. I wanna see more!!! Hmm, ya know what i think? That when the lil girl gets older, Sesshoumaru might fall in love with her!!!!!!????????? I don't know, just something that would be really koo if it happened!

Sesshoumaru did attack Kagome when they were in Inutaisho's grave. When Kagome pulled Tessaiga out of the rock thingy it was in, Sesshoumaru attacked her with doukkasou (the poison claws).

To the question in the subject line, I think he's both. ^_^ He's gradually becoming less of a bad guy, but is still misunderstood (as evidenced by more recent episodes). And he doesn't try to dissuade anyone, either.
