This only covers the first 8 eps and focuses mostly on Ritsuko and/or Misato. 'Cuz I can. ^_~

I've always thought that the recording is a bit loud in Spanish. I don't know why. (It's always a bit NOT loud in English, though. ^^) So, naturally, while Rei's VA is good, she sounds too loud. *shrug* Not like she has to say much anyway. (^^)

I'm assuming this was done in Mexico or with Mexicans, because a Spanish Spanish dub would sound WAY different. (And funny. ^^; Cute, but funny. ^^) Locomotion supervised. I like Loco. I want DirectTV, or SOME provider that gives Loco away. *sigh* Moving on.

Have you noticed how Misato and Ritsuko talk to each other respectfully? (Mostly Ritsuko, and mostly to annoy Misato, I believe.) It sounds almost hilarious. ^^; In Ep 8, Ritsuko says "Misato", but in the Spanish version she calls her "Captain". (I can't get over how funny that is. ^_^ *niko*)

And Ritsuko's sarcastic-polite in the curry scene. (!^^!) When she asks to be invited when it's Shinji's turn to cook, she "makes a save" by saying "Sólo para probar." ("Just to try (it).") Which reminds me: POOR PEN-PEN. ^_^ *glomps Pen-pen*

Marú Guerrero's Ritsuko's Spanish VA. Marú. I'd never heard that name before. Guerrero yes, Marú no. It's funny when you think about how "guerrero" means "warrior". (Don't ask me why. It just is.)

All in all, the Spanish dub (what I've seen of it..^^) is pretty cool. I think the English dub VA selections (SOME of them) are closer to the original Japanese, but, then again, I've grown fond to Spanish dubbing. ^_^ GO, LOCOMOTION! ^_^

*this has been another moment of randomness
