Tenchi Muyo Spot the difference

Oh yeah, there is quite the difference, and not just between the subs, but in the dub release as well.

First off, Ryoko streaks quite a lot. Take a look at the hot springs episodes, and you'll clearly see that most of the swimsuits are painted on. When Ayeka drops her towel in front of Tenchi, turning red, she's also not supposed to be in a suit - but in the buff.

Secondly, Toonami hides the fact that Tenchi's father Nobuyuki is a lech. When he first leans that Ryoko is in the house, he peeps in Tenchi's room.

Thirdly, there are a number of very small scenes that get cut because of "inaproppriateness". There is a groping scene with Yosho and Ryoko, one of Washu taking a "sperm-sample", and a few other "fan-service" shots. There were a few bloody scense that were toned down. There were also a few dialogue changes - the few I remember are from Tenchi in Tokyo - in episode 1, they changed sake into "tea". In Long-Distance Lunacy, instead of a devil, Tenchi is described as an "egg-hating monster" (which I find funnier, nonetheless).

There is more, but really not too much that it affects any of the story...
