Anime The Jungle was always nice, then came Guu

    Number of Episodes: 26 TV Episodes

    I've got to say this is one hilarious anime. I can't help watching the misfortunes the little boy Hale goes through. He's really unlucky!
    This boy lives with his mother in a WEIRD JUNGLE! Why weird? Weird jungle in a sense that there are strange creatures called Pokute, a japanese school in the middle of the jungle, human shaped fruit, a teacher that gives Sleeping lessons in the morning, a centipiCAT, two Japanese student living in the stomach of a little girl, a girl that can swallow things from the size of a fly to a whole WHALE. The anime sort of clashy, but it is not bad at all. Actually it contributes to the fun factor of the anime!
    Anyone had any thoughts, opinions to share!

    I think the characters designs are really original. It's not every day anime you find such characters, and with a different race too :D!

    Thanks alkie for introducing it to me :D! It's really funny, I like the character designs! I've seen the first 17 episodes and I can hardly wait to see the OVAS! :catgirl:

    I'm just liking the dude with the chest hair. He's hilarious, especially at the end. That, and how Guu was using it as an afro. And how they were saying 70's slang terms in horrible english...like, "Hey, I want to fever too!" and stuff like that.

    Don't know if I can stand watching 26 episodes of this stuff...but, it's hilarious if you watch it sporadically.

    I really like the fact that's inane, like Di Gi Charat. But the episodes are just a bit too long to keep holding my attention.

    I only managed to get the first episode, and it seems pretty fun. Has a sort of fresh, free-fantasy kind of comedy.

    I was playing this game a little while ago...and I just seem to be laughing at the resemblance...even though it's not that much of one.

    Guu is hilarious. the anime is crazy almost like Excel, but I didn't continue watching it. It lacked something for me. but I'll give it a second chance and watch it all when I can ^___^
