    What was the name of that soccer anime from the 80s :confused: ? If anyone still remeber it...

    Soccer fans anyone?

    I live in Sweden so...I drink Soccer, Eat Soccer, And sleep Soccer :D

    They used to show it in Spain when I was a kid and I always watched it... ahh the memories...
    In Spain it was called "Oliver y Benji", so I googled that and apparently it's called "Captain Tsubasa" in English. Here's a link http://www.animenfo.com/anime.php?id=422

    I think they made new episodes or something because of the 2002 World Cup in Japan/Corea
    I might have to watch some episodes of it again sometime :)

    I think I've seen that once at Japan. Actually I think I saw it when I went there this year. Or it was a nother soccer anime. I didn't pay that much attention to it though not that found of watching, soccer but playing it's lots of fun!

    I'm not a big soccer fan tbh, but I used to be when I was younger...
    I was born there and lived there till I was 18; my family still lives there...
    So I got to watch all the anime they showed on TV there as a kid :)

    It used to be on TCC or Sky 1.
    Oh and AC Milan clearly own Inter Milan.

    But surely, didn't the producers of that anime did that basketball series too? :confused: cause i mean the art looked the same...

    There's only one Basketball anime that I have ever heard of. It's "Slam Dunk. " Never heard of any others (would be mightly interested if there is one tho), does anyone know if there is another?
