This song is one of my favorites. It's by Live On Release and I dunno i just love it. The whole song doesn't make perfect sense to me but i still love it.

    I only just turned 15
I'm filled with hopes and dreams
I turn my radio on and
    I hear the strangest song

I'm afraid of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera
Backstreet Boys and N'sync I don't know what to think
    Ahoo Ahoo Ahoo Ahoo

It's slick the way they dress
I heard they all have fake breasts
One thing I'll do if I can
Is go on Britney's bus and get a tan
They dance like they need a cure
Let's get the number of their choreographer
There so worried bout what we'll think
They took the time to learn to lip sync
Milli Vanilli Milli Vanilli Milli Vanilli Milli Vanilli

I'm afraid of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera

And what was the point of making the song? Pop-punk is just as bad!!!
Actually, when this song came out I hated punk and liked this style ... backwards.

    chiquitabanana:

I'm not sure what the point of the song is. But i still think its good none the less. I like what it says about artists like Britney because that is what i really think about artists like her. So it's like projecting what i really think.

    Novus:

Well, hmph. The song seems good to me. And since i really dont like Britney or Christina i like what it says about them. I think that alot of that kind of music is bad but this particular song is good to me.

That's just the same thing everyone in the music industry (outside of pop itself) says. How is this any different from Eminem mocking Aguilera in The Real Slim Shady, or any of the other musicians who have lyrically fire-bombed pop stars? And then there's videos, where they do the same thing. Blink 182's All The Small Things (from more or less the same period as this song) rags on the Backstreet Boys in the video.
If this song said anything meaningful or original, maybe I'd still care now, three years later.

Well, we all have different opinions now dont we? Yes, i know many artists say the same thing in their songs that is said in this song but there is something that is different about this song to me. I've liked it since it first came out and all the critisim in the world won't change that, not that I expect to change your opinion either. Though, it does say the same thing about artists such as Christina, it's not just stuffed in there in the background or in one sentence. The basis of the whole song is on it, unlike Eminem. I also like what the song says about them, it's my exact thoughts.
