I agree. Hex on you Izzy. You should watch episode three atleast. It got me into it. Now I have seen upto episode 139 and the first 2 movies.

I think we should all change Izzys mind about watching it. Plus you can bug me with any questiosn you may have. Who wouldn't want to bug me? Any of you with an answer I am not looking for don't answer. hehe

Reasons to watch Inuyasha all for you Izzy. ^_^
1. A pervert Monk (Miroku) asks every girl/woman he sees to have his child.
1a. Some women actually say yes.
1b. He gets hit a lot especially with a big boomerang.
2. Fighting. Who does not love fighting?
3. Big Swords. Big fun. Tetsusaiga can kill 100 demons with one swing.
4. A girl who can sit a boy with just one word.
4a. She does it enough especially when he is mean to her or others.
5. Sibling rivalry at its best.
5a. Wouldn't you like to be able to beat up your older brother or just cut off an arm? If you had one.
6. Love triangles. There are just so many.
6a. Especially with love at first sight.
7. Kidnappings. Well, a girl gets kidnapped a lot.
8. 1/2 dog demon and 1/2 human (Inuyasha) acts like a dog a lot.
9. A dead girl comes back to life. Who wouldn't want to see there ex?
10. Time travel.

I can think of more but that is all you get for now. So are you going to watch?

And your reasoning is probably a large reason why I won't watch Cowboy Bebop or Evangelion.

 

I just got the lastest Shonen Jump(No15). Yay!
And I'm learning Japanese (Verbs at the end of the sentence-OhNO!)

 

I fully understand. I am sorry if it came across that way. You are an active user of the Forum Inuyasha. I was just pointing out what makes me watch it. I actually did play catch up with Inuyasha. I liked it so much I figured there was no harm in it. Plus to me money is no object when you like something so much.

Please don't discredit Inuyasha for all of mine and others wrong doings. Inuyasha is a great anime. I look forward to all the new episodes. You can decide for yourself if you want to watch Inuyasha but don't let the influences of others impact your decision. You could be missing out on something great.

hmm . . . i think i got into inuyasha by . . . oh yeah! my friend told me about it because she saw some kind of add or something on the internet and asked me when it was going to come out here in hawaii. i was already going to japan so when i went to the book store in aomori, there was a poster that said something like . . . "inuyasha, first episode on october something 2001, or 2002 . . . (i think)" so then i called her, told her, she screamed but then realized that the poster was for japan and would come out later in america . . . told my moms friend about it when i saw the first episode, (very boring) then he got me like . . . from book 1-7 in japanese and i got hooked.

at least i think that it was something like that . . .

I have only seen IY as far as Takahasi's work goes. I want to see Ranma 1/2 someday. I probably will buy it.

 

What's up! I've only read the first page and some of the second page but if this has already been said sorry. Inu-Yasha is a great anime and so are the other anime out there. I don't want to offend anyone but I think most Americans are going a little overboard with censorship. They need to loosen up like every other country in the world. Other kids are seing (I don't know if I spelled that right) more sexual things more violent things and vulgar things than american children. I mean, you see more violent things on t.v series, movies, and the news. Cartoon and anime violence is very different and people in America should just lighten up on censoring things and complaining about things being so violence. Some people say they should always try new things well this should be one of 'em, DON'T YA THINK? Ne ways I don't think this was the topic but that's what I think. :dizzy2:
