okay i am posting this to see what everyone else thinks about the death of nuriko
personaly i think it was bad because he was really cool

It was so sad... Nuriko is the best!!! I was crying when i saw how he died:sad:

 

One of the emotional scenes from FY.... it was sad indeed.

 

Haven't seen it in the anime, but I just read it in vol 8 of Fushigi Yugi today. Poor Nuriko. It sucks big time.

Maybe Nuriko and Miaka somehow end up being together? That's a cute possibillity, don't you think?

death of nuriko sucks. I like Nuriko. He's cool.

 

i was soo sad when i saw the episode where nuriko died...i was like cyring for 3 days straight...i can't even smile^_^; it was so sad...

 

I was so shocked and sssssssssssoooooooooooooo sad when Nuriko died, I cried sssoooooooooo much when I saw that episode and even if I notice the episode on my computer a tear rolls down my cheek!!

 

tell me about it . . . my friend calls me nuriko everyday although i'm not gay and i'm not dead . . . maybe i am in her head . . .

 

I didn't actually see the death of Nuriko, but I read it in volume 8. When I first read it , I cried a little but then in volume nine, I really started crying when Tasuki cried and they buried him 'n all. Well, my friends think I'm gay cuz I like both Willow from Buffy and Nuriko, (somehow I'm obsessed with gay anime or TV show characters) cuz Chris says that Nuriko turns into a girl every other reincarnation(which I won't believe til someone else tells me or I see it for myself) and should be a girl all the time, and they tease me all the time about it, too. Doesn't matter, cuz they like Chichiri and Tasuki (nothing against 'em, they're my second favs) and they're both guys. :sweat2:

When Nuriko died I creid so much and it was the first time I ever cried while watching anything... Why did they have to kill off Nuriko why not Tamahome or Miaka... I really liked Nuriko and I think it wasn't fair! :sad:

 

*sobs* Nuriko!!! Waaah! Nuriko was my favorite character! *stops crying* Yes Nuriko's death was extremely tragic for me. But through the magic of fanfiction Nuriko shall live on :anime:

 

That was soooooo sad!!! I almost cried. Nuriko was one of my favorite of the Susaku Seven. I liked her better as a girl though.

 

Yeah, of all the deaths in FY, Nuriko's was probably the hardest for me. Of course, the minute he started acting "straight" I knew something was up, but I still wasn't prepared.

What especially pissed me off was that whole business with Hotohori's fianceé - what a cheap cop-out to appease the Nuriko fans. ¬_¬ Would've been better if Hotohori and Nuriko had shared something romantic before Nuriko died, instead of having a Nuri-clone woman show up. Oh well.

But no, I don't like the idea of Nuriko/Miaka at all. -_- Fact is, ALL the seiryuu are drawn to their mikos, romantically in the cases of those old enough. I think that Miaka's role as Miko, and the fact that she was a "special" character in the story itself, are why Nuriko was attracted to her. But he's still gay, simple as that. I don't think they would have made a terribly good couple - they were more fun as antagonistic friends, anyway.

 

You talking about Houki Dilandou? I kinda like Houki. Sure she looked just like Nuriko but she didn't ACT just like her. they were best friends and they looked alike. in fact, Houki could sense the exact moment Nuriko died apparently and Nuriko sent her letters while they were traveling...

Honestly tho...Houki's cooler when she's older. There's a hell of a lot more to her and hotohori's relationship than she was just to please Nuriko fans. ifg you watch Eikouden...you'll see...
