Art three drawings of my girl Tashanna!

Here we go with more drawings of Tashanna, my main character. I drew three pics of her on a full sheet of paper, and although this was done a while ago, the scan and slight retouching was just several weeks ago. Some people have given me that "it doesn't look like anime" cuz I don't draw "anime hair," or chibi's that don't look "Japanese enough." Cuz I draw however I want!

Anyway, enjoy the huge close-up of her. Don't worry about the writing on the page ("Eccentri-Comics")... it was just something I made up.

 

these are seriously good. it's a real different character from the ordinary. i really like the eyes and hair. (the hair in particular cause i hate drawing hair.n_n.)
The chibi is really good too. The clothing folds in the chibi are great!.

 

she looks cute, work a little more on the face, it looks angular at one side and round in the other, also notice the ear is to small

 

I think I portrayed her too "lovely" with these drawings. She's supposed to be a lil more conservative with her goods (sweet looks, close-fitting clothes, etc.) around strangers, but I guess she came to life for me.

On the close-up, some details like her eyebrows came out inaccurate after scanning. (Some of my pencil shading is so light that it only shows up on the actual paper, and likewise, the facial features aren't as good as they look on-screen) Plus it takes a lot of enhancing to get a pure white BG while having a proper balance of darks/lights in the penciling. Oh, and her face is more angular on one side cuz she's supposed to be facing very slightly to the side. I forgot to compensate for that with the eyes but I had already detailed her eyes in their straight-forward view.

I can't decide on her age... she could pass for anywhere from 14-24! (I know a few 20-something year old girls who look like middle-schoolers.) Originally she's supposed to be just starting college, just that she looks a few years younger than her actual age (just like many other typical girls here in Hawaii). I don't want her to be in the middle of high school, although I probably will add a few occasional flashbacks of her younger years.

 

yah thats pretty good. you made her look all innocent and sweet. haha. the eyes and the clothing is pretty good. your hair is awesome. its so intricite and realistic. nice.

 

The hair's totally cool. Hair is fun, I dunno how people can think it's evil. Hands are evil, no...bare feet. The HORROR! Anyway's those are great, and she could be just starting college, looks that way.
