Anime Vampire Princess Miyu

Anyone seen it? Over the weekend, in my mass spree of buying anime DVDs, I decided to pick up the series box set for this having not only heard that it was pretty good, but the box set also came with the soundtrack (which is awesome so far, though I've only listened to the first four or five tracks). Well, anyways, once I got done watching Trigun I started to watch this, and got through the first 7 episodes (2 DVDs) and I have to say, I am really impressed. Might just be my vampire-fan-side talking, but it's a really nice series. It gives me a sort of more violent Sailor Moon vibe (and if you've seen it, it'd be easier for you to understand, I can't really explain it, not that it's a bad thing). Of course, Larva/Lava (the head bishounen of the series, a scythe-wielding, mask-wearing 'Shinma') could kick the *** of everyone in Sailor Moon. Anyways... for those of you who have seen it, even a little it, or heard of it... what'd you think?

 

I've never seen the anime, but I've seen the manga. I have to admit it's really awesome, especially the artwork.

ok anyway.. I say the first 3 dvd's when she is more adult like, I LOVED that one omg. But I rented like the first one of when she is like still a little girl and it was weird like Larva/Lava fought and Miyu was like 13 or something and she talked ALOT more but she didn't do that much fighting... So it was okay but I liked the one where she is an adult better. Also I heard something about Vampire Princess Yui or something like that and is that a different series but still based on this? Like what happend to Miyu? Can somebody explain?? :catgirl:

 

It's awesome! It's much better than the OVA >_<... Vampire stories are the best hehe

 

i watched the first four eps. of this about a year ago....didnt interest me enough to get the rest of it..... it could've been better.
