Gundam what gundam series...

    ...is ZZ Gundam from? I've seen it in Gundam Battle Assult, and assume that it's from Mobile Suit Gundam, but am not sure.

    ZZ Gundam comes from the series Gundam ZZ or Gundam Double Zeta...its the sequal to Z Gundam...Gundam Double Zeta is the sixth gundam series created...so its several years after the end of The One Year War

    ZZ Gundam takes place after the Z Gundam series. Although it seems ZZ is more of a comedy compared to Z Gundam.

    The first half is somewhat on the "comedy side". The other half is quite serious and nearly as good as Zeta Gundam.

    This is wrong ZZ comes from Gundam ZZ or Double Zeta that point is right. ZZ is more comidic because Zeta a dark series (because Yoshiyuki Tomino (the creator of Gundam) said that at the time Zeta was created anime was dark, accoring to Tomino, so he created a dark. While making the series he became sad. Thus he created a happier series. Which he thought (and did) make anime happier.)

    To correct this quote it was 3rd Gundam series but the 6th Gundam animtion (the other three were the Mobile Suit Gundam movie Triligy ):D
