Naruto What is 'this'?

I've seen it a few times in anime. Do you remember when the Konohamaru team meets Sakura? Then Konohamaru asks Naruto if Sakura is his 'this' (points his little finger)

 

Well, that's what I guess watching the anime. I wonder if that's the exact meaning in Japan. Or if it has some deeper meaning. If it is just that then it's allright.

 

what izzy said. it means like boyfriend, girlfriend, or koibito. my moms friend kept on sticking up his pinky when he saw these two people or like uh, he asked my moms other friend if she thinks that she was gonna get *sticks pinky up* tonight. -_-;;
