Trigun What IS Vash? ***SPOILERS***

For my first time of going through the series on dvd, it's pretty hard NOT to understand that Vash and Knives are not human. However, I'm having a hard time understanding what their exact origins are. Are they supposed to be two of the race of entities that reside within the power generators of the ancient technology? I could really use some clarification.

 

Yes, that is precisely what he is. He and Vash came from plants. As to what exactly the plants are, you'd be best off finding somone who's read the manga.

 

Well, if that's the case, I would really like to know where I can find one, assuming that there is none that have read the manga on this forum.
