Can anyone here explain Big O to me? I just got done watching the end to season 2 and I am thoroughly confused?????

Okay, so here's what I gathered. From what I can tell, everyone's a robot and the city is really a holo-deck?!?!?!?!?!?!?!:glazed: I mean is that really it?! Did I understand ANY of that? Or am I just desperately in need of an interpretor? Please help.

First of all did you see the entire series (eps 1-26). Second of all they didn't explain everything. But from what I gather
Angel Chose that the final battle should be like that. I also think that the big reset occured.
I think I when I get the DVDs I will wathc it over and over again to try to under stand it.

I'm glad to see another persons who likes Big O

I've seen all of seasons one and two. I'm going to have to get the DVDs to understand it. I think this is one of those series where you have to watch it a few times before you can figure out everything.

Like; Why, after the reset, were Dorothy and Angel already there when it was apparently back at the beginning? Did anyone else notice that Angel's last name is Rosewater? Why was there a "Big O" poster in that control room? Who touched Angel's shoulder? And what was with the balloons throughout the show? What were they supposed to symbolise?

I hope they make a third season, cause I'm gonna be addicted to this show till EVERYTHING is explained! *sigh* And, concidering the show's track record, that's never gonna happen. I think they like to confuse us. That's okay, though, cause it's still a great show.

My favorite scene in ep 26 was when Angel showed up in her big and everything started going all holo-deck. What's yours?

Um, I wasn't confused... And I didn't see all of season one.

The hand on Angel's shoulder was Roger's. Dorothy tried to help also, remember? She even says as he touches Angel's shoulder "Roger". The whole point was that Angel Rosewater, the true author of the book "Metropolis", was the only one with any memories, because she was a memory. She had the power to destroy the city with everything, and Roger, the Negotiator, was hired to negotiate with her. I think the Big O poster was there to see if anyone would notice. And yes, it was the beginning, but it's the beginning that Angel decided on this time, because it was her duty.

I hope that explains a lot.

I'm actually a member of an entire forum dedicated to Big O,and there sure is a lot of **** flying around there.

    It makes my head hurt.But......

Angel IS Big Venus.Did you see the "scars" on Big Venus' back?Supposedly,Angel is the reincarnated "memory" of The Big Venus from the past.If you look closely to Roger's flashback in Episode 26,when all the megadues' are marching around,Big Venus has huge wings and is destroying the city. Then Dorothy says,"Big Venus-a bird whose wings have been plucked will turn into the beast it once was".So,Big Venus destroyed the city and sort of played the role of the devil. But Angel, the memory of Big Venus, changed when she met Roger Smith. So she reversed her role as Satan into the role of God.Thus, destroying Big Fau and Alex Rosewater along with resetting the damage done to Paradigm City.Hope that wasn't too confusing.;)
