Inu-Yasha What weapon would you use?

If you suddenly woke up in feudal Japan and were expected to protect yourself, which weapon would you want?

I'd probably want a bow and arrow... or maybe Hiraikotsu.

 

If it had to be a normal weapon, it would be just a plane old katana(hope he spelled it right). But if I could have any weapon from the show it would be ether the Tokijin or the Sounga.

 

lol I have to admit that if I were ACTUALLY in feudal Japan I'd also prob want a sword (Tetusaiga most likely) but since I'm not, I'll stick with a bow and arrow (my fav weapon).

The Sounga? What's that and who uses it?

 

Haraikotsu is a cool weapon. Maybe I would just use a samurai sword (katana)

A Sword that is in the 3rd movie, it was also left be Inu-Yasha and Sessho-maru's fother, I've only seen a pic with Inu-Yasha holding it in last month NewType-USA.

I would probably be the most able to protect myself with a bow and arrows, but I don't know that I would be able to draw the bow to use it, which could be a problem.

In all reality, I'd probably try to run away from any fight I found myself it if I were transported, as is, to feudal Japan. I have very little in the way of fighting skills and weapons knowledge, so running away is by far the most intelligent option.

Now, if I had extensive training, I'd probably still want a bow and arrow just because I wouldn't have to get up close and personal with whatever I'm fighting against. Yay for ranged weapons! Failing that, I'd probably want a staff of some sort, or I'd want to know enough of some form of barehand fighting to disarm and disable my opponent. Can't say that I'm big on killing.

i would probably want to use Sango's weapon (forgot what its called), tetsusaiga, staff, bow and arrow, and also hammer (like totosai's just becaus i would like to use a hammer)

 

the bow and arrow or a sword.... actually, i had this really twisted idea using the tensaiga. first, you kill someone. take your time, have fun killing said person. then, when they die, bring them back to life and repeat above steps.... i know, i have problems. and no, therapy didnt help.

yeah, but the sounga controlls you. ugh you should of seen inuyashas' arm in the third movie. it was like . . . wow . . .

What Weapon?

Definately the bow or sword. And if I felt like it, I might forget the weapons altogether and just beat up whoever was trying to bother me. Or maybe a bo. Those are cool too. :catgirl:

 

My Weapon of Choice would be the Katana. I am a master of swordsmanship.

 

I'd probably go with a longbow and arrows, or a naginata. With training, though, I think a katana would be spiff.
