    how is Naraku different from the baboon?

    i thought that naraku was the baboon but then i saw them as two different people
    whats up with that
    does any one know the difference?

    The baboon is Naraku, yes. The Naraku-not-baboon and Narkau-baboon side-by-side thing is explained, don't worry. I can tell you, if you don't mind spoilers.

    ::shrug:: Some people (like me) don't like spoilers.

    When you see more than one Naraku standing near each other, it's usually because the one in the baboon skin is a wooden puppet version of him. You see this in the episodes where you first meet Sango (when she's working temporarily for the prince in the castle). Naraku is controlling the puppet from a distance, so that even if the puppet's head is cut off, Naraku doesn't die.
