Music wheatus or evanesence????

    for some unknown cosmic reason i rather wheatus
    (i may just be a teenage dirtbag)
    and all my friends like evanesence
    so who do all of you like???????

    Erm, I've never heard of any "Wheatus". And I hate Evanessence. So although I don't know them, I'm going to go with Wheatus. And I'm going to hope that they are somewhat good.

    Wheatus was a whiny emo band that released Teenage Dirtbag and has never appeared since then (at least not to my knowledge; I could be wrong).
    I'd like to know the logic of this discussion. What do the two bands have in common with each other?
    Any, E is way better than W. W just wanted to be Weezer (seemingly like most of that genre), whereas E is unique and interesting.

    I am going with evanecsence on this one cause i have never heard of wheatus and no offence to anyone who likes them but they sound kinda gay....no offence

    I have to say i go with Evanencense because:
    1. I have never heard of wheatus
    2. i happen to think that evanescence rocks
    3. evanescence's lead singer has a kick-*** choice in clothes

    I like both, but since I have E's album, I kind of know them more, and as for W, they were dissapeared for a while after "Teenage Dirtbag", but now they re-appeard with another song that I like, but still didn't get the album. so my vote with E :)

    no they didn't breck up the one gutarist guy who left to go home cause he oveously missed them cause of all tours but they are still a band.

    yeah i do to but i am more into the whole goth,depperssed,suicidal,death metal bands and all i listen to some of the happyer bands but not very much
