Fruits Basket where u get the opening theme in ENGLISH

i just cant find the opening theme for fruits basket in ENGLISH. There all jap

 

Well, as far as I know there are no domestic soundtracks for Fruits Basket. Because of this the English translation of the opening theme is going to be very difficult to find.

Probably your best bet would be to find someone who can rip the audio from a DVD and record it that way. Unfortunately, it would only be a TV-sized version, but these things happen.

Just the song or the whole op? If you want just the song, try kazaa and type in 'fruits basket english' after you check 'audio' ... I checked it out a while back but I'm not sure if you wanna hear it or not...

 

well that part isnt hard but i cant get the dvd until a lil longer of a wait. (friend has it )

Hm.. just tried myself and you were right... I don't have the file anymore, sorry.. frankly, its wasn't that great so I deleted it.. I looked around for a bit in mirror sites and other places but it doesn't seem to be anywhere in sight... I'll keep looking and give you word if something comes up

Has anyone heard the english voices for Fruits Basket? In my opinion, they're not very good. At all.

Tohru's voice is awful. It doesn't fit the character at all..

I really like Kyou's voice, but the Japanese is *way* better..

Yuki's voice is really deep and scary.. It's not that good..

And momiji's! It's AWFUL. In the Japanese, it's done by a girl. At least I think its done by a girl. But in the english..It's actualy done by a girl, and you can really tell its done by a girl. It's like a guy with this actual girl voice.. it's horrible.. *Shudder*

And they translated the opening and ending song in english..it's not that good either...

that's what i think ^^;

 

I think the dub is decent. None of the female characters have high-pitched, annoying voices that I've seen, which is always a plus. I don't particularly care for Yuki's voice, or for Momiji and Hatori, but these things happen.

As far as dubs go, though, it's not bad. It could have been so much worse that it was.

I was surprised by the English dubs of the songs. I thought they were going to be terrible, but man, those girls can really belt it out.

As far as the dub, it was much better than I expected for FUNimation. Momiji bothered me a bit, especially during the crying scenes, but otherwise, nothing struck me as hideously bad. The guy who did Shigure's voice was, IMHO, one of the best.
