    we;;, if you look up top of the page, there's the guiding links. go mangatoanime, then the forums on..that opens up to more options..there's one there called "forum leaders" it lists the mods and admins in alpha order...*^-^* and it's a title you just get graced with...(lol)

    Anyway .. some members just got them .. they dont know how they dont know when .. which makes me embarresed from the way I asked for it :sweat: ..

    I just PMed Cloud and told him if I can be a mod .. and I actually gave him a list for few forums .. !!
    But I asked him for one from the list .. so, he was really generous !!

    *grasps for his cane* I forget how I became a moderator... I think that it was quite a while ago when the board was just starting and I asked Cloud if we could create a Rurouni Kenshin forum... and then it was so and I became the mod of it :)

    Mods are volunteer members who have shown interest in being part of the team - the caretakers of the board. These are the folks who tirelessly look after posts to make sure they are acceptable for viewing, and generally help to keep the piece (and sometimes take out the trash).

    Being granted Moderator status is not something to be taken lightly. It's sometimes a demanding job, but everyone's assumed to be capable of doing their share.

    As such, if you are geniunely interested in helping out, and feel you are suited for the team, by all means...make the offer to help out. We have plenty of boards, and each can share out amongst four team members...

    It also helps to "be in your element". If you have no clue what an AT Field is, you'd definately have no place modding EVA, if you loathe Sailor Moon, why would you be any good at looking after it? But if you've named every different color ponta-kun there ever was, chances are you could hack SMJ...or if you've pretty well memorized every step to Hiten-Mitsurugi-Ryu, tehn you'd fit well in Kenshin.

    Basically, if you'd like to be part of team, all you have to do is make the offer. As long as you are sincere and do your duties well, you'll retain that status.

    Although astounding contibutions to the community can sometimes do wonders for your status as well...as some members have told you already.

    You become a moderator through being an upstanding member of the community, I guess. It doesn't have much to do with post count really. I became a mod when the FF board came into being, and I asked if I could mod it due to my deep affection to those games.
    That guy... Interesting... avatar. I just saw your post, and though "Izer's a mod, snice when?" Hmm.

    Well .. I like m2a .. and like I said before .. its my second family !!
    I free my time for it and no one else :) !!

    Now we knew how to be a mod .. how about an admin :sweat2: ?!
    I ask a lot dont I =^_^= ?! I think that I am being rude for asking for much !!

    umm that is sooooo true it is demanding i havent had to delete anything yet but just having to check t everytime gets tiresome *dont get me wrong i love my job its just not a cruise ya know* but yeah i just asked my fav baka ever if i could be mod of a new forum thing and he was like sure! and i was like alright! and that was it...heehee ^.^ i love stories...

    As long as we're standing up to be counted, I used to be a mod. Cloud emailed me and asked if I wanted to, and if i wanted to check out the forum while i was at it. I still don't know how he got my email, or why he sent something to it.
