Anime Zatch Bell

Has anyone heard of this new-to-America (and i think Canada as well...)- anime?

It premiered about two weeks on Cartoon Network. It is the story of a high school student that's so smart, that he feels that he doesn't need to go to school anymore....On his birthday, he recived an odd gift from his father, a little kid named Zatch Bell, that will help him become a better person. But what everyone doesn't know (including Zatch himself) is that Zatch is acutally some sort of Demon, that was supposed to rule the Demon World....

That's preety much how the story gets started, but i want to know, has anyone actually ever head of this Anime, let alone see it. I heard that it is a very popular anime in Japan, and was wondering if anyone else had thoughts on this.....

Indeed, it was edited. They added a pair of boxers for the little kid. Which are strongly needed since he flashes the main character half the episode. As for the humour in it, I guess its okay.

I havent seen the first episode but i seen the fourth or thrid but it seems to be a promising anime

 

By far, the sotry sorta makes sense, and it has it's humour in it..

There's an article on "Anime Insider" (April/May Issue) that talks about this anime. Apparently, this anime is supposed to be more than popular in Japan than expected. It has quite a number of soundtracks, lots of episodes released, lots of mangas released, and i belive there was at least one video game of Konjiki no Gash Bell/Zatch Bell for the Playstation 2. I will try to put in full info about this matter by tomorrow, for today, this is all i've got....

Also, remember that Cartoon Network shows a re-run of Zatch Bell the next day (sunday), at around 4:30Pm(U.S. Fl time). Schedule hours are bound to vary, but at least now you know that you may be able to catch that missed episode eh? Well, maybe more people will watch it now (I think...)......

i have seen it and have come to somewhat of a conlcusion: The book that comes with "Zatch" is a spell book to control Zatches poers... whoever controls the book of spells for a certain being like zatch (the main character runs into other people who have a similar little demo following them) controls his pwoers and controls the little demon.... thats about all i can come up with right now from what i have seen and heard.

 

Well, yeah, that's preety much obvious on the third episode. But you forgot to add on, that if the person's book is destoryed, the little demon (Zatch, or those other little things) dissapear to god knows where.......

I saw the first one and I liked it somewhat right away. It may become a very likeable anime.

 

i really like this anime.It's pretty funny.

 

i've seen a couple of the shows. it looks great. im gonna keep watching it.

 

Zatch Bell looks okay but it seems pretty wierd......

I've only seen a couple episodes of this show... I seem to keep missing it, but it looks to be a really good anime. I hope I can see this week's. I like the character Kiyo(sp?) the best.

 

I saw several episodes of Zatch Bell, and I have to say, it's pretty funny! But it can get serious when it needs to...the animation's a bit odd, but that's okay...

Also, isn't it that when the spellbook is destroyed, the mamodo returns to the mamodo world??

 

A big while. Last I heard it has I think 150+ episodes, a possible movie, and 2 games, along with other stuff.

I'm not sure what episode they're on right now on CN, but they need to show it more often. Once a week is nothing.
