Inu-Yasha Kagura

What are your opinions on Kagura? Personally, I think she's annoying. I don't know why. She just irritates me. I guess I feel that she's not necessary to the story. That, and that she's pure evil- annoyingly evil.

 

I think Kagura's character is bit deeper than you give her credit for. And I don't think she is entirely evil.

I mean, how many times has she wanted to defy Naraku and just walk away, but couldn't because she was being watched by the saimyoushuu (Naraku's poison bees) She has even been known to attack Inu Yasha and company half-heartedly in order to appear to be following orders.

 

Yea, it's kinda hard to tell what her true motives are. She seems like she keeps to herself alot and doesn't really socialize with anybody. Although it's not like she has anyone to socialize with, lol. But she was made form a part of Naraku. It's hard to tell if she's truly evil, though.

 

I think Kagura is a bit evil, but not as evil as Naraku.

 

Kagura....Let's see.....it's more of less I want to strangle her. Cause she's just to damn arrogant. And she rants way to much!

 

Kagura isn't that evil. She would possible do anything to gain her freedom.

Kagura saw Inuyasha at his weakest state when he was human. She never told Naraku this. She also tried to have Sess destroy Naraku during this time. I think she also confirmed to the group that Naraku is a hanyo (need to check).

Personally, Kagura is one of my favorite female characters (aside from Kagome and possibly Sango). She's definitely a bit deeper then given credit for, unlike her sister Kanna she hasn't completely seemed to accept that she should be Naraku's obediant and willing slave. She seems to want to be free of him so that she can... I have no idea, but i mean, would YOU want to be a slave?

I'm pretty sure that she knows about Inuyasha's human transformation, yet she's never said anything to Naraku. That must mean that she has SOME good side to her.. it isn't her fault that her life is being controlled by some maniacal baboon

I dont think she's all evil. She hates Naraku but obeys him because he holds her life in his hands.

i just think she is misguieded.

 

i think Kagura is a pretty under-rated character. she isnt given as much credit as she deserves. she's always forced to follow Naraku's commands b/c he has her heart. if it wasnt for that fact she wouldn't always be forced to follow his commands.

 

i feel sorry for Kagura *even though she's a badie* she wants to be free, yet she can't because she has to do Naraku's evil deeds to achieve it. Naraku holds her heart in his hands and could easily kill her, so she can't disagree. the chick does what she has to do to get what she wants. even though Naraku said he would give her freedom if she follows his orders, i highly doubt it. when he's done with her, he'd prolly kill her or something...

 

i pity her. if naraku didnt have a death hold on her, i'm pretty sure she would join the inuyasha group.

 

I actually doubt that. I think that if Naraku didn't have a death hold on her, she'd either go out on her own or find Sesshomaru. She doesn't seem to like human company very much, she'd rather be with other youkai.

 

you might be right, but i think she would go for whoever was gonna beat the living crap out of naraku

 

i totally agree with u there. but i think she's more likely to join Sesshoumaru. i think they would compliment each other better if they fought together rather than if she joined up with InuYasha's group. she just doesn't seem to fit in at all with them.

 

yes, but then again, since when do any of the inuyasha group look like they would fit in together under normal circumstances?

She's a pretty kool character. Her fan is one of the koolest weapons (besides Miroku's wind tunnel!!) in my opinion. The only thing that irks me, is all those Sesshy/Kagura fanfics!!!! Yes, I'm a Sesshy drooler.

hey i was thinking....since Kagura is a "component" of Naraku, and since Naraku controls Kagura's life...shouldn't Kagura and all the rest of the Naraku-spawned creatures die if Naraku were to die?
