Saber Marionette Skippydee Do Dah!!

Got my DVDs today and swiped my roomie's player to watch.

The picture quality is excellent but the subtitles leave uh... a LOT to be desired. For example, Otaru has mysteriously acquired the name "Gan" while Hanagata seems to be named "Huxai" (I have no idea either). Lime is Lam, Bloodberry is Cranberry and Yumeji is Moon. *shrug* But the subs are good enough to watch, and that's really all I ask.

Perhaps they did the English subs based on the Chinese names for the characters. *shrugs* Wierd that they would do that...unless you can find some other discrepencies in the subbing...

Ahh,yes..the "special item." Now do you know why I said he was "molesting sock puppets?"

My SMJ-X Dvds should be appearing some time between Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of this week. As for the subbing, I have heard that they may be less that “ideal”. Not that it matters too much; I can understand Japanese to some extent. The subtitles will just serve as a “guide” (I use the term loosely). Who knows, I might end up buying SMJ-X by Bandai just for the heck of it.
