Inu-Yasha Tetsusaiga vs. Tenseiga!

Which sword do you like better? Tetsusaiga or Tenseiga? I personally prefer tetsusaiga, cuz theres nothing I would like more than to chop a hundred demons in one swing!

 

I personally want Toukijin. I can't really decide between Tessaiga and Tenseiga. I mean, Tessaiga is a great offensive weapong and perfect for using against all those pesky demon who come a-callin'. It has the Kaze no Kizu and (SPOILERS) Bakuryuha and the red barrier-breaking form. However, Tenseiga is a wonderful defensive sword that can heal and raise people from the dead. It's a tough decision.

 

I forgot about that... I guess I can't really add taht one in though, because adult swim only has up to ep. 36 and finding certain episodes online are a pain . I was looking in an image gallery and i saw a red Tetsusaiga, is that the barrier thing you were talking about? How'd that happen?

Inuyasha found out from Totousai that he needs to break a powerful barrier with Tessaiga for the fang to absorb the energy and be able to break Naraku's barriers. Tessaiga suggests the barrier of the bat-youkai, so Inuyasha goes off on a two-episode journey to take care of that.

 

is that late in the current series?

 

I would like a sword that could revive people. Imagine what I could do with it. It's a good thing it can't kill but Sesshoumaru doesn't like that He'll learn.

After that, actually. It's the two-episode arc dealing with the bat-youkai and Shiori.

 

Oo, haven't seen those episodes yet. I started watching misc episodes like late 70s, early 80s, early 90s, then late 80s, and so I skipped a bunch of them.

That would be nice to see him help InuYasha out somehow.

 

Do you mean Sesshoumaru? Perhaps, perhaps not. We have yet to find out.

When he DOES help Inuyasha, everyone (audience members and characters alike) will be like O_O!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking he might help at the end of the series though. Maybe Kagome will die and Sesshoumaru will revive her. I read it as a fanfiction and thought it a really big possibility.

I agree. Sess was given the sword for a reason. I think it'll become a big element of the series as some point and time. Even if he doesn't become "good", I think some good will come from his having the sword (not to mention the new experiences he has w/ Rin, hopefully will help him to appreciate/tolerate the human race a little better).

 

Can't wait :anime: I liked that episode where he does actually revive her, I actually watched it again today... heh, Fluffy's the stuff. All he'd have to do after he (if he) helps them out is just KILL JAKKEN! Then I can rest peacefully.

 

I would go with tetsaiuga because I would rather destroy 100 demons with one stroke than to heal them.

 

Actually, Tensaiga doesn't heal demons. It only kills those demons that cling to people as they die (they take their soul to hell). Inuyasha's dad made Inuyasha's sword to kill demons that threaten people and Sesshoumaru's sword to revive dead humans who deserve to live.

and if you watch carefully on episode 6 for the title of the episode it said TETSUSAIGA which is the manga

 

The spelling and pronunciation of Tetsusaiga varies. It's spelled Tetsusaiga but when you sound it out you say Tetsaiga because in Japanese sometimes you doun't sound out some vowels (like desu sounds like des).
