Saber Marionette There is something about 'Lime'

Guys love her and girls think that she is cute. I dont know much about SMJ, but from the video clips ive downloaded Lime appears to be 'annoying'...

could someone tell me the reasons why they think she's cute, cuz i dont?!

Ah, BakaMattSu, you are forgeting her apperence in ep. 20, Love Unending, Hearts Distant. She has a brief stint, but, alas, dies again.
Lime? Annoying? No. Not in the least bit. She is one of the greatest characters ever. Possibly THE greatest character ever. I never for one second thought she was annoying. She's just damn cool. I'm a Limer too. And damn proud.
If you saw clips from the english dub then I could forgive you, because she ****ing is annoying. That is the worst voice ever. Ever. I hate it so much. Ruining such a good character. Grr.

 

Lime is innocent and VERY lovable! That's all I can say for you. She's just like a little child and possibly can grow to be a little sister to you too. In other words, you just CAN'T not love her, because as you watch SMJ, you grow to sooo love her and her character. I mean I let my friends watch SMJ and like, all of their favorite character is LIME LIME LIME! Remember, Lime is NOT your snobbish annoying spoiled character; Lime is only a little kid (like me hehe), and she does learn much more than the clips you saw (I'm pretty sure).

 

I find Lime annoying. ^^;

I don't know, maybe in the english dub I could see her as annoying... although I am speculating because I haven't seen the dub yet >.<
I find that Lime is lovable and full of energy and she is just a fun character that brings humour into the show. Otaru could probably find her a bit annoying with kicking in her sleep and so on, although she is a lot like an innocent child... I don't know what it is about Lime really but she's just cool ^^;;;;;

 

I SO beg to differ here… *takes in a deep breath and puts on armor, seeing as things may be thrown in her direction*

First, she's just so freaking annoying! "Otaru!!" this "Otaru, da~isuki!!" that. Scratch that. I like the "daisuki" bits, but only because it's squeaky!

Anyway…
She's… almost the main focus of the story. -_-; She's not angsty! She's too childish! I mean, look at Tiger. Tiger has the same attribute, but in a completely opposite manner! (Whoops, drifting…)

She's spoiled. Don't go saying she isn't. She IS! She has to get everything her way or else she'll go crying and she'll run off thinking nobody loves her anymore. Then everyone has to worry about her and say, "Oh, Lime, we're sorry. We love you!" I find that to be spoiled. I don't care if her maiden circuit is innocence, because Tiger can deal with her otome kairo just fine! And Bloodberry can deal with the fact that she doesn't get to 'sumo wrestle' with Otaru. Sure, most of the time it's by hitting someone else, but she can deal with it.

And no, I don't care how cute her Japanese VA is or how sad her life is. WE'RE BRAINWASHED TO TAKE PITY ON HER, I TELL YOU! BRAINWASHED!!!!!

I'm sorry, but how could Lime be as you said? You really don't care how sad her life is? Maybe you need to vicariously look more deeply into how she feels.

I know lots of time Lime wants things to go her way, but not always. For example, what about the Barbeque episode? Was it #21? I think so. Even though she thought she didn't get a cup, she did not go yelling or complaining. She simply tried to hide her cry and said it was her fault because she didn't apologize to Otaru.

Yes, I think Tiger and Lime have the same attributes, but you see, Tiger is more strictly trained in Gartland. It's not like Otaru and his marionettes where they carry their lives freely. The Saber dolls are military-trained (so to speak). Perhaps Tiger might've been more innocent. But also, is it their fault they are trained that way? It's more like all three of them seeks for sensual stuff too, even though they're suppose to have different attributes. In the marionette contest, Tiger wears that exposed costume. In J Again, both Panther and Luchs flirt with Otaru with..exposed clothes again. But again, the Saber dolls were created by Faust; Otaru's sabers were created by Ieyasu, so they're different.

Still, everyone has to look at Lime as how a little child is like. Maybe we were all once just like Lime, innocent and full of energy.

I used to think Lime was soo cute…

…but then…I dunno. I just don't like her that much anymore. ^^; I mean, I know her life is sad and stuff, but still!… The barbecue episode… I took it more like a "She's learning a bit" thing. But I think that kinda helped me dislike her, the fact that she was acting so mean and stuff at first.

Oh, and I definitely didn't like the fact that the BBQ was for her. That just completely threw me off. :sweat: I mean, when Bloodberry and Cherry lost their maiden circuits, they didn't get anything! (I mean, come on. Otaru cried TONS for Lime, and it was depressing)

Then again, maybe I'm the spoiled one! ::gasp gasp!:: ^^;; Maybe. I mean, I've heard that those who accuse do so because they themselves are accused. ^^;;;; EEEP! ^_^;;;

 

Yes. I agree. It's Tiger who has suffered the most!

What about Luchs and Panther? They must feel kinda bad... Then again...
